Charlie Morton was presented an plaque honoring him as the Veteran of the Month. Morton was humbled and grateful to the public for their attendance and support.

As we all take a moment to remember the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor we at Halderman Companies look to honor one of our own.  Charlie Morton entered the service at the age of 18.  After completing basic training Charlie was assigned to the 164 Infantry Regiment, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.  He participated in the liberation of the Philippines on the islands of Leyte, Negros and Cebu.  He took part in the occupation of Japan at the end of the war.   

Upon returning home Charlie complete a degree in agricultural economics at Purdue University and began working for the Halderman Companies.  A position he held for more than 40 years.
